Services for Jack Shoalmire.
Tulsa, OK Friday, September 2, 2011
Visitation will be held at Moore’s Eastlawn Funeral Home, 1908 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa, OK 74112 on Wednesday, August 31, from 8AM – 8PM. Family will be present from 2PM-8PM. The Memorial Service will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church, 6767 S. Mingo Rd., Tulsa, OK on Friday, September 2, at 1PM. A reception will be held in the main church building following the service.
The Patriot Guard Riders will be helping with the services on Wednesday by placing flags at the funeral home. They will also be helping Friday by escorting the Urns from the funeral home to Asbury United Methodist Church. The parade will start at 11AM. The Patriot Guard will also be conducting a Flag Line at the Memorial Service following the parade.
Anyone wishing to ride with the Patriot Guard is invited to do so.

The Memorial Service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 5850 Buncombe Rd., Shreveport, LA 71129 on Saturday, September 10, at 10 AM. Graveside services will follow at Forest Park Cemetery, 3700 St. Vincent Ave. in Shreveport. The Patriot Guard will participate in these services also.
Jack’s nephew Brent Shoalmire will conduct both services. Brent is a minister, professor, and associate dean at Louisiana Baptist University and is the son of Jack’s late brother Jimmy and our classmate Carol Shaughnessy Shoalmire.
